This is an easy walk over Longridge Fell that starts from the elevated position of Jeffrey Hill, although the views are extensive from this high ridge, little effort is needed and only a small amount of climbing is involved. Longridge Fell is fantastic viewpoint for the Vale of Chipping and the panorama of the south flank of the Bowland Fells, from Parlick and Fair Snape Fell to the west across to Totridge in the east, it must be one of the best views in the district.
Good paths are used throughout and there is a very safe route off the fell by following the stone wall all the way to the road near the Jeffrey Hill car park making this elevated walk accessible throughout the year.
